When applied to clothing, the term "second skin" can only conjure one image. The most beloved item in any wardrobe, the most worn and in many ways therapeutically comfortable, our mistress and apologist for less-than-perfect butts, we love our jeans.
From a distance, watching this man was akin to watching a prince proceed towards his coronation. There was no swagger, no bravado, not a hint of an air of superiority. There was simply majesty. The difference being: superiority is taught, majesty comes from more than a lesson. Kings and queens must be groomed. He just had "it." Detractors and praisers alike simply acknowledge that there was something about him that was there from day one.
