April 2008 Issue
There’s so much to look forward to in this season of renewal. In fashion there’s a sense of starting all over again whenever the seasons switch over. Designers start releasing collections that were shown last September to the masses at store racks and boutiques. The lines are finally seeing the light of day with the warmer weather. There’s intrigue in finding out whether new trends like Marc Jacobs’ experiment of wearing underwear as everyday outerwear (even if it is a glimpse) takes hold and becomes the “it” thing or a passing fad. With that, this month we take a peruse through 30 looks from designers that showed at New York Fashion Week. We interview jewelry designer Bridget Lynne on the direction of her new Spring jewelry line. We also look at elegant Spring trends in a photo story shot by photographer Kristiina Wilson. It is all here in Papierdoll’s April 2008 online issue. Don’t forget to stop by daily for our news updates, our multiple blog updates and our giveaway that can get you a $500 shopping spree at top indie fashion retailer Smashing Darling.
