Vivienne Tam might have been showing off a little, but that’s a designer prerogative. Her collection for Fall 2015 shows a designer that’s adept at creating a highly feminine look without have to blatantly hug a curve. Her Fall sees extensive floral pattern prints with a rich color palette but also a variety both in choice of fabric as well as design. Some may see this as indecisive or lacking identity, but only those that don’t understand perspective. The depth of her choices a deep red sailor peacoat, and embroidered dress in black and nude, a dark plaid skirt and jacket set, a deep blue leather dress with thick shoulder straps, floral and bird print dress, the list goes on and on – shows a versatility not found in many collections during this season of designer showings. It lends one to the thought that Tam is not tied down or bound to one statement or style and neither is her Fall 2015 collection. It will find many tastes, takers and fans.
