Kati Stern debuted a sleeker, retro-futuristic fusion, finished collection for Fall 2015. She didn’t entirely abandon the embellished, omnipresent gown from collections past, but it’s very noticeable that the design of the collection brings the fabric closer to the body. Each gown has its own distinct touch: the halter satin gown with black sheer outline, the blood orange velvet gown with ever so slight layering beneath the ribs, the strapless metallic print gown that is actually reminiscent of previous Stern collections, the one shouldered shimmery grey gown, a particular beautiful piece was the black semi-triangle straight line dress with shimmering accents throughout. It’s subdued for Stern because past collections were loud and expansive. This Venexiana for Fall 2015 is different for all the reasons outlined and we’re sure to see a Hollywood starlet in it as a result.
