Monique Lhullier’s Fall 2015 offering was a masterful balance of opposites. The juxtaposition of masculine details and feminine sophistication. Jewel tones create a glamorous backdrop for the 1920’s inspired silhouettes.
Balance was key in this collection as classic tailored pieces like cigarette pants and structured jackets were paired with draped blouses and followed by flowy dresses. Accompanying the collection were boots, sandals, pumps, clutches and booties from Monique’s new accessories collection. Clutches were made with furs, Jacquard and accented with metal hardware. Geometric metal details embellished the heels of the shoes beautifully.
Although a lot of elements were involved, it was exquisitely executed allowing the woman to shine through. Silhouette was always emphasized and flattered, “a sensual fit” as Monique Lhullier describes it, making it one of the most feminine collections this season.
