Max Azria must have consulted meteorologists for his Fall 2015 collection. Just a quick glance shows extensive layering that belies an orientation to colder weather. Place this in tandem with a strong slant towards traditional fall colors and you have an aesthetically pleasing, utilitarian, safe collection for Fall. The safety here is in the color choices. Past collections for Fall were less reserved in palette. This one it seems goes for a patchwork of reds, browns, violets and multiple extensions of white. Utility here comes in the form of layering that seems to have taken notice of the winters in the Northeast recently. Standout items includes a grey turtleneck knit shawl with open sleeves, a cowl neck top, a beautiful grey tunic dress with detailing at the chest, a rich dark multi-colored print dress with dark navy button-less coat that is 3/4 length.
It must be said that Azria’s Fall 2015 colors are safe, but rich and deep. Which on the visual end will make it a compelling choice for the professionals set.
