The Italian designer Paola Stramucci, heart and soul of the atelier has created unique gowns, focusing on femininity, perfectly matched lines and creating volumes that sometimes are wide and sometimes are basic, but always created with a skilful hand, juxtaposing in the same creation the reassuring sophistication of the classical and essential lines, with a more modern and contemporary approach.
A woman who chooses Glen Spose will wear light and soft fabrics, like organza and tulle, embellished with embroidery and transparent degrade’ on the shoulders and back, to enhance the strategic points, in a game of contrasts and fusions of materials. Models range from princely dresses with important trail to short jaunty dresses, from balloon skirts to slip dresses and the colour turns from classic white to trendy colours like cream, ivory and pink, to fulfil the dreams of every bride.
Each dress is custom made, hand made by skilled dressmakers and embroiderers, based on the indications given by the bride, flanked by designer Paola Stramucci, to ensure that every wish of the bride comes true. The “Modelli Glen” (originally sewing patterns) Glen Spose was founded in Rome in the mid-thirties as a store of sewing patterns. The designer Paola Stramucci, continuing the work of her mother, personally creates all the designs in the collection personalizing them each time according to the needs of the customer, and follows the entire phase of the process of the dress. Each creation is handmade by the staff of dressmakers and embroiderers, the laces and embroideries are designed by the designer, so each piece is unique and exclusive.
