Monique LHuillier’s Fall 2014 collection is as varied as is impressive. This Fall 2014 collection is one of her strongest showings and gives an indication that aside from the creative aspect it has the potential of being a runaway commercial success as well. The one thing that immediately stands out is the variation in the collection. There’s a play with different fabric from lace, to sheer material, to chiffon and embroidered patterns. There the plunging neckline red dress that falls above the knee with sequins and frill detailing. There’s the black dress with shimmering silver detailing and slit sleeves from the wrist to mid fore-arm. There’s the black ball gown with elaborate embroidered design in fuchsia/red. You could go on and on. The variability of design and strength of the Lhuillier collection for Fall 2014 is that you can’t pigeonhole or pinpoint one common thread except that the detailing and thought is apparent per piece.
