The 5:31 JÉRÔME collection was heralded with much fanfare when it debuted. Style.com even considered the designer someone to watch in upcoming seasons. Some of that has bared out as correct. The designer is persistent, consistent and insistent in releasing a collection that gets attention. All of this is done with good reason. The 5:31 JÉRÔME collection for Fall 2014 contains looks that strict fashion adherents will appreciate. The designer shows range and an ability to craft beautiful pieces that fit the female form in a glove-like fashion. Indeed, the highlights of the collection include a Navy Wool funnel neck dress with cutouts just above the chest. A dark fuchsia wool jersey shifty dress is form-fitting for a variety of shapes. The pink mohair cropped sweater with zipper detail was a particular favorite when e-mailed around by Papierdoll staff. There is plenty to like about 5:31 JÉRÔME Fall 2014 collection. Has the designer reached peak yet? The belief here he is far from that yet, but there is extensive growth from season to season and we’re beginning to see an artist come into his own.
