September in New York is synonymous with fashion and now as the Official Cosmetics Sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for the seventh straight season, so is Maybelline New York. This season the iconic beauty brand is continuing its successful collaboration with top designers and makeup artists, lending its backstage talent and vision to Cushnie et Ochs, Lacoste, Mara Hoffman, Victoria Beckham, DKNY, Custo Barcelona, Wes Gordon, Carlos Miele, Betsey Johnson, Bibhu Mohapatra and Rachel Zoe.
Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer will once again lead the effort with Maybelline New York Makeup Artist for Spain, Gato, and world renowned independent makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury. The brand is also excited about collaborating with world renowned independent makeup artist Diane Kendal for the first time this season.

And with September, of course, comes Fashion’s Night Out. Once again, Maybelline New York will take to the streets with its always anticipated party. It will be kicking the festivities off early this season with its Maybelline New York Mobile Color Studio, which will be making stops in Times Square and Union Square between 10:30am and 6:00pm. Fashion-goers will receive free mini-makeovers and mini-manicures from top Maybelline New York artists, and meet some of Maybelline New York’s famous faces. The Maybelline New York Fashion’s Night Out Event in the heart of the Meatpacking District will offer more mini-makeovers and a sneak preview of Maybelline New York’s newest launch, The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara by Volum’ Express. Revelers will get the chance to meet Kara Laricks, the winner of NBC’s Fashion Star, who has designed a limited edition t-shirt that will be given away to the first to arrive, along with a free The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara by Volum’ Express. And it wouldn’t be a Maybelline New York party without a strut down the catwalk along with top spokesmodels! For West Coasters, Maybelline New York will be at the The Beverly Center providing mini makeovers and sampling Color Show Nail Lacquer.
But it doesn’t stop there. Maybelline New York will be a part of a series of high-profile events associated with top magazines during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. At the Elle Fashion | Next runway show at Lincoln Center Maybelline New York will present a $25K grant to the student they feel best embodies the spirit of “Fashion | Next.” Maybelline New York is also sponsoring the Allure Lounge at the Empire Hotel, which allows the public to join in the fashion week fun with makeovers from top Maybelline New York artists and a preview of hot up-and-coming designers. And finally, with People StyleWatch, Maybelline New York will be sponsoring the “Fast & Fashionable” Glass Truck located just outside Lincoln Center on September 8th and 9th. The truck will feature a Maybelline New York Foundation Matching Station, helping visitors choose the best face product and shade for them. All good beauty and fashion starts with a good foundation!
