Beijing, China (4E) – To celebrate its freshly launched Timeless Beauty exhibition at Shanghai’s Museum of Contemporary Art, luxury jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels has debuted a special collection of new designs.
The exhibit showcases some 370 pieces of precious jewelry, watches and accessories. Among the creations are a Silk Road Dancer clip and two zip necklaces that can be transformed into bracelets.
The storied jewelry house’s latest expo will also highlight a timeline of its legacy as it celebrates more than 100 years of high-end jewels.
The new sparkling gems include a necklace made with white gold, round diamonds, pear shaped rubies and pearls.
Another creation features a white and red gold Silk Road Dancer clip, which pays homage to the Chinese dance drama “Along the Silk Road,” and is made with rose-cut diamonds and ruby detailing.
Other highlights include two Zip necklaces, one made with white gold, round diamonds, pear-shaped rubies and pearls, and another with diamonds and onyx. The jewels can be worn either as a necklace or a bracelet.
The jeweler has eight locations across China. The high-end jewelry retailer first entered the Asian nation in 2005 with a store in Beijing.
The exhibit will run through July 15.
