Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Tyra Banks has had success with it, so Naomi Campbell figures why not.

The supermodel, perhaps best known for her super-sized temper and physical outbursts, has announced that she will launch a new reality TV show to “discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world.”

“The Face” is set to debut on America’s Oxygen network in 2013. The 41-year-old statuesque British beauty will coach a group of unknown and budding models as they venture out on photo shoots, runway shows and commercials, prior to the announcement of the eventual winner and major brand of “The Face.”

Campbell said in a statement, “With ‘The Face’ the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me.”

The show will be based around the decisions of three judges. One will be Campbell; the other two have yet to be named.

The Oxygen network is home of the hugely successful America’s Next Top Model series, fronted by Banks, now in its 18th season.
