Tokyo, Japan (AHN) – A Japanese firm on Wednesday unveiled an “iced bra” to help keep women cool this summer.
Brainchild of underwear firm Triumph, the bra, which is officially called the “Super Cool Bra,” is being promoted as an energy-efficient product.
In a statement on its website, the company said that it aimed at capturing the five senses without using power to cool down during summers.
With its built-in ice packs that look like a “small fish tank,” the company said it tried to give wearers a super cool feeling. Wind chimes and mint leaves attached to the lingerie are meant to appeal to the hearing and smelling senses.
A side pouch contains salt and has room for a mint candy to help the wearer compensate for loss of body fluid while sweating.
