Topping the list of the world’s most valuable labels is the iconic brand Heremes. The legacy Chanel brand took the second spot, followed by the heritage French label Louis Vuitton, according to a compilation from the World Luxury Association.
The WLA compiled its list of luxury brands on a global scale, taking into consideration such factors as market share, influence and consumer feedback.
The World’s Most Valuable Luxury Brands Top 100 provides rankings in areas including yachts, cars and resorts, but the main focus is on the fashion arena.
The WLA’s world’s top fashion labels include, in order: Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Ferragamo, Versace, Prada, Fendi, Giorgi Armani and Ermenegildo Zegna.
Several of the same prestigious brands also make the list of the world’s top cosmetics. The WLA’s world top 10 cosmetics companies are: Chanel, Christian Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, Helena Rubenstein, Sisley, La Prairie, La Mer, Lancome, and Biotherm.
On the watch and jewelry category, scoring high were Rolex, Frank Mueller, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
