New York, NY, United States (AHN) – Discount retailer Target has wooed fashion designer Jason Wu to create a line for its stores. The collaboration has created quite a buzz in the fashion world.
The line will include women’s clothing and handbags. They will be available at Target stores starting in February. Fashionistas who can’t wait can get a peak of the first images on JasonWuStudio.com
Wu rose to fame after First Lady Michelle Obama wore a Wu-created gown to President Barack Obama’s inaugural ball.
Last September, Target stores were mobbed, and its online site crashed, when the retailer teamed up with designer Missoni. Several items sold out within hours.
