Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide last year, left the equivalent of $82,000 to each of his three dogs.
According to the BBC, the dogs, who are named Minter, Juice and Callum, received the same amount as McQueen’s nieces and nephews and his two housekeepers.
“My dogs are the only thing in the world I really trust,” McQueen had told Arena Homme+ magazine in an interview.
McQueen also donated the equivalent of about $164,000 to four animal charities that included the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and The Blue Cross animal welfare charity.
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home manager Spencer Wisdom expressed his gratitude about McQueen, whom he called a “devoted animal lover.”
McQueen died in February 2010.
