Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Mac Cosmetics has announced the new stars of its Viva Glam campaign, which benefits the MAC AIDS Fund. Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin will become the new faces for the campaign starting next year.
Minaj and Martin are currently shooting the adverts with Dave LaChapelle in Miami. The shots are first expected to be seen in February 2012.
Minaj and Martin replace the previous faces of the Viva Glam line, Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper. Past Viva Glam spokespeople also include Christina Aguilera, Boy George, Missy Elliott, Fergie, Elton John, and Pamela Anderson.
Viva Glam’s lipsticks and lipgloss have already helped raise over $200 million for the MAC AIDS fund.
It’s also not the first time Minaj has teamed up with Mac for a successful outing. She released a limited edition “Pink 4 Friday” lipstick last year that reportedly flew off the shelves.
