Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Lily Allen’s store, Lucy In Disguise which is located in Covent Garden, is doing fine despite British newspaper reports to the contrary.
British newspapers have been reporting that bad business has forced the store to shut down, but a rep for Allen is squashing these rumors.
“Our Covent Garden space was a nine month pop-up store that helped us successfully launch the Lucy in Disguise concept and this current move was always part of our plan. Lucy in Disguise is pleased to announce we have a new store,” Allen’s rep told Vogue UK..
“As we develop this exciting new space on 48 Lexington Street which will open in August, we are able to welcome our customers to our pop-up store just around the corner at 3 Lowndes Court,” the rep added.
Allen is not pleased by the rumors swirling about the store and made this clear.
“If any other publication wants to write deliberately misleading articles about Lucy in Disguise , feel free, I WILL sue you,” the songstress tweeted.
Allen is best known for her hit single, “Smile” which was released in 2006.
