Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) – Ever since MTV’s “The City” came to an end, Whitney Port has kept busy with her popular Whitney Eve line. Now she’s planning on designing yet another line, this time with more affordable options.
Port revealed the news at a recent red carpet event, where she clarified that the new line won’t be “cheap” but it will be more wallet-friendly.
“We’re working on a lower end—not cheap—but a more affordable side to my line,” Port said. “It’s going through some phases right now, we’re not sure what we’ll call it yet but I’ll launch it during fashion week.”
That shouldn’t be too hard as most of the prices for Whitney Eve, which includes blouses, tie shorts, and even print and tie-dye “all-in-ones” are in the lower triple-digit range.
But Port won’t be putting Whitney Eve aside altogether to launch her budget line. She’s still hard at work on Whitney Eve’s Spring 2012 collection.
