New York, NY, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the new face of Coach, Inc. The Academy Award-winning actress is the new brand ambassador for the American leather goods company’s international campaign to mark its 70th anniversary.
The print, digital and outdoor ads, shot by Peter Lindbergh on a Manhattan rooftop, will be used for select markets in Asia and Europe. They will also be included in international September books, according to WWD.
Paltrow has been quoted by the website as saying, “I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
Coach president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff said Paltrow is a “natural choice” for them as she “embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.”
The campaign will mark the label’s 70th anniversary this fall and next spring.
