Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) – Britney Spears is currently shooting the music video for the second single from her upcoming “Femme Fatale” album, “Till the World Ends,” and she’s enlisted the help of Burberry.
She’s rocking the Short Studded Leather Biker Jacket from Burberry Prorsum’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The jacket alone retails for a whopping £3,995.00.
The jacket features a mixture of spikes, flat rivets and cones, front and back, including row of spikes outlining the cuff zips. A half-belt with flat rivets as well as left sleeve zip and two zip pockets on chest add even more studded flash.
Emma Roberts also sported the jacket for a photo shoot, while other celebs seen sporting Burberry leather jackets include Rachel Bilson, Kate Bosworth, and Alexa Chung.
Tweeting a picture of herself taking a seat on the set, Spears said, “Just wrapped my first big dance number. Taking a well deserved break people.”
She’s teaming up with director Ray Kay for the first time for the clip. He’s worked other fashionistas Beyonce on her “Freakum Dress” clip and Lady Gaga for “Poker Face.”
For her last video, “Hold It Against Me,” Spears wore custom-designed looks from B. Åkerlund and Bordelle, which both were accessorized with Swarovski crystals.
Spears is shooting the video in Los Angeles for the Ke$ha-co-written single, which is currently sitting at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It’s expected to be released early next month.
Meanwhile, Spears’ seventh album “Femme Fatale,” featuring “Till the World Ends” and #1 hit “Hold It Against Me,” hits stores on March 29th.
