Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Lady Gaga is supporting her support to Japan by designing a prayer bracelet. The 24-year-old Grammy winner is selling a $5 red and white wristband to help the victims of the 23-foot tsunami in Japan on Friday.
She wrote on her Twitter: “I Designed a Japan Prayer Bracelet. BuyIt/Donate here and ALL proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief Efforts. Go Monsters”
The wristband, which has the text “We Pray for Japan” in both English and Japanese, is priced at $5, but fans can include additional amount as donation. The item is available for preorder, and will be shipped on or around March 25.
The Asian nation has been devastated by Friday’s 8.9 magnitude earthquake, which then triggered a 23-foot tsunami. The disaster has led to an estimated tens of thousands of casualties and has seen over 300,000 homes destroyed.
