Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks is the new face of Vivienne Westwood’s latest jewelry range. The new advertising campaign for “Get A Life” Palladium Jewelry features the curvaceous actress wearing a headdress and necklace from the limited edition collection.
Hendricks is the ideal model for the designer’s collection. Westwood, who has been vocal about her support for fuller figure women, said the actress is the “embodiment of beauty.”
She has been quoted by the Telegraph as saying, “Her style is just so complimentary to my designs. She has proved to be the perfect model for the campaign.”
And as expected, the shoots didn’t shy away from showing off the 35-year-old actress’ famous curves. The new collection is crafted from palladium, a natural white metal from the platinum family that doesn’t lose its color and shape.
It comprises both commercial and couture pieces, and has been inspired by nature and symbols of paganism, including the leaves headdress and heart necklace worn by the actress in the campaign ads.
Hendricks said of her new role, “It was a great honor for me to be asked to represent the ‘Get a Life’ Palladium Jewelry collection. I admire that Vivienne uses her designs to inspire change and the pieces are just so wonderful.”

The Get A Life Palladium Jewelry Collection will be available in Vivienne Westwood stores in London and Los Angeles starting this month.
