Fashion Designers Fight To Be Eco-Friendly In Green Design Challenge Contest

London, England, United Kingdom (CNS) – Livia Firth is calling all green fashion watchers to help her in her Green Carpet Challenge this year.
Firth, creative director of Eco Age and wife of actor Colin Firth, blogged her way to become a green fashion oracle over the past two awards seasons; wearing only green, sustainable and ecologically sound dresses on the red carpet as part of her Green Carpet Challenge.
Now, there’s a spin-off competition, Firth will choose the best comment, suggestion or advice left on her blog each week – and the winner will receive an assortment of Divine chocolate worth £40. You don’t even need to be a fashion designer for this competition, which was also announced by Vogue.com!
No matter what Firth’s blog posts are about, comments can be about anything in the realm of being green; whether you comment on how to find a fabric that doesn’t harm the plant or where to buy sustainable jewelry, Firth welcomes your suggestions as she prepares for her trip to the BAFTAs – and hopefully the Oscars – at her husband’s side.
