Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Push your Justin Bieber nail polish aside. As if there wasn’t enough “Glee” products on the market (Tees! Tats! Trading cards!), now comes a new collection of nail shades and design appliques based on the hit musical dramedy.
Sephora teamed up with “Glee” for the “Sephora by OPI goes Gleek Chic” collection. The collection features 10 new colour shades and three print nail design appliqués that are hopefully all Kurt-approved.
Among the exclusive colors are a purple Hell to the No, a glittery green Gleek Out, a pink Diva-in-Training, and a blue Slushied. Each bottle will sell for $9.50.
Fans can see the cast sporting the polish on the upcoming Valentine’s Day episode of “Glee” airing on February 8th. Check the nails on Mercedes, Brittany, Tina, Santana, and Lauren Zizes during the show to see the various shades.
“The Sephora collection takes the essential elements of the GLEE brand and incorporates them into the ultimate means of self-expression for fans of the show,” said Robert Marick, Executive Vice President of Fox Consumer Products.
That’s not all. Fox Consumer Products is also looking into even more cosmetic tie-ins, including “Glee” fragrances and make-up products.
Along with launching alongside the highly anticipated Super Bowl episode on Fox, the nail polish collection will debut with an in-store event in Los Angeles, Facebook and Twitter contests, and more.
The “Sephora by OPI goes Gleek Chic” collection debuts February 3rd and will be available in Sephora stores, Sephora sections of JCPenney stores, and online.
