New York, NY, United States (AHN) – Victoria’s Secret will be missing an angel in their upcoming November show. Supermodel Heidi Klum, dubbed as “The Body,” has told the lingerie company that she will be hanging up her wings after more than a decade.
Page Six has learned that the 37-year-old Head Angel, a title bestowed on the German beauty after hosting the catwalk show since 2002, has decided to quit because she’s busy with her TV show “Project Runway” and her own fitness clothing line.
She told the trade, “All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria’s Secret. It has been an absolutely amazing time.”
Klum, a mother of four and wife to singer Seal, has been modeling for the brand since 1997. She was called “The Body” by Page Six after her first VS show. Last year, she amazed fans by walking on the catwalk in lingerie just five weeks after giving birth.
Her exit means VS bosses would have to bestow the title of top angel to someone else. As Page Six noted, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are both pregnant, so the chief wings could go to Adriana Lima or Alessandra Ambrosio.
