Beige must be the official color of London fashion week as there’s some variation of it in every show I’ve seen. Jean-Pierre Braganza’s show is no different, but that doesn’t detract from the collection nor remove the originality on display. Braganza went with a series of shirt dresses and elaborate print that were in just the right amount to make the pieces beautiful. The designer showed mastery in silk, satin and print. Of particular note, a silk print dress with pink and black inlays cinched slightly at the wais and a sheer top full length dress with detailed patterning from the waist down. Is it the best from Braganza? There’s definitely stronger past seasons, but this collection does not disappoint.
