Despite it’s quirky name, nothing could match the equally quirky Spring 2011 A. Hallucination collection. Showing in London with a variety of sharp cuts, pleated relaxed shorts and edgy lines, the A Halucination collection is an example of what would happen to menswear if being daring was a primary requirement. There were no conventions for this collection. The designer played with traditionally fall colors in a Spring setting and came away with something appropriate to boating and relaxing at a weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, or in London’s case, Brighton. There’s promise in the men’s line somewhat hidden here, but there’s hope for the Fall.
