Cynthia Rowley is a designer who needs no introduction, she has made the cover of all magazines such as Vogue, Elle, W, etc.. Yes the retail key to her entire collection was based on polished and colored gemstone that is found on almost all of her clothes.
Like most shows that we’ve covered, pastel colors were prominent for the season. Rowley, intersected delicate soft colors with accents of vibrant colors such as coral and khaki. Transparency, interspersed with rocks and cuts in the fabric of the clothes, brings a breath of fresh air compared to other collections shown earlier this week.
For this collection, it can be said that the slogan was Cynthia Rowley “texture”. Indeed, one finds in her collection of charming dresses perforated details, whether at the neckline or to the hem. In addition to the aforementioned vibrant colors, dark stripes intersected by stripes of transparent silk were able to catch many in the crowd off guard in a pleasant way. The cut of her trousers was impeccable, making each of the pieces a welcome distraction for the eye. An interesting collection that should be a part of any Spring 2011 wardrobe.
