London, United Kingdom (AHN) – Kate Moss has been beaten by a younger woman. At 36, the British supermodel may still be considered at the top of her game, but apparently, she’s no match for 19-year-old Chloe Green, retail brand Topshop boss Sir Philip Green’s own daughter.
Moss is set to launch her 14th and final collection for the high street store in October, weeks after Chloe starts training with the company. It is said that Chloe’s own clothing range will replace the model’s successful line with the company.
Chloe’s dad has arranged for her to work at Topshop’s headquarters in London’s Oxford Street.
But according to the Daily Mail, the decision to replace Moss has caused tension between her and Sir Philip, who once claimed that he had “two daughters” – Chloe and Moss.
The supermodel earned over $4.5 million in revenue for the brand, so she considered the decision a blow to their friendship.
A Topshop insider told the trade, “Kate Moss has made us hip, but we’ve heard there’s a falling out over the boss’ daughter.”
But Sir Philip has denied the falling out. He said that Moss had too many other commitments to continue working with them.
