Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Fans who want a piece of Britney Spears now that her new personally designed collection for Candie’s is (almost) officially available at Kohl’s stores. The collection, which includes jackets, denim, and studded skirts, is already available for purchase online.
Britney is also doing her part in promoting her new collection. She filmed a commercial for the collection, helmed by music video director Chris Applebaum (who also went behind the lens for Britney with her “Overprotected” and “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” videos), which is available for viewing online. She also shot a whole new ad campaign with fashion photographer Cliff Watts.
In the clip, which features her hit “Piece of Me,” Spears references other tracks which inspired her collection, like “Gimme More” and “Lace and Leather” off 2008’s “Circus.”
“I was so excited when Candie’s asked me to design my very own clothing collection,” Spears said. “Designing was a really fun, new way for me to express my creativity and I really wanted to create something by me for my fans. I hope you guys love it.”
The collection items priced from $14 to $58. Among the pieces are a black sleeveless cocktail dress with silver stud detailing, a distressed denim vest and striped tunics with lace insets on the shoulders. The collection officially hits Kohl’s stores July 1st.
