London, United Kingdom (CNS) – The unique style of Amy Winehouse is going for retail. The British songstress has teamed up with the retail label Fred Perry for a special collection that features her signature fashion.
The 17-piece collection will feature items that reflect the “Rehab” star’s style, including twinsets, skinny pencil skirts, mini dresses, polo shirts, and Capri pants.
Marketing director Richard Martin told WWD that Winehouse, 26 was heavily involved with the design process, saying, “We had three major design meetings where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details.”
“Amy gave crucial input on proportion, color and fit. The range clearly has Amy’s handwriting.”
The Winehouse-inspired collection will arrive in Fred Perry stores in October.
