Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Britney Spears is the face of Candie’s for her second year, following her hugely successful collaboration with the brand which helped sponsor her sold-out “Circus” Tour and saw sales surge. Britney Spears “Through the Lens” showcases Spears photographed by some of Hollywood’s most sought-out photographers.
Annie Liebovitz, Mark Seliger, and Terry Richardson all came on board to capture Spears in different Candie’s looks. Liebovitz captured the entertainer in motion, dancing in and out of a chair while sporting a black Candie’s dress. Seliger sees Spears in a “Moulin Rouge” inspired dressing room, wearing their white, faux leather jacket with their pink seamless camisole.
Terry Richardson, who has photographed celebrities like Justin Timberlake and Lindsay Lohan, captures Spears looking ultra-slim and sexy in their Ditsy Floral Bikini Top and Skirted Bottoms. Not all of the items Spears is sporting in the campaign is available in stores just yet, but the swim set and jacket and camisole combo are already on sale online. If last year was any indication, any of the items Spears is seen wearing in the campaign go fast.
“An amazing shoot like this is an honor,” Britney said after filming with Liebovitz. The Candie’s website also features pictures and exclusive videos of Britney on the set of the photo shoots with each photographer, where she listened to Shakira, Michael Jackson, and Prince while in front of the cameras. The rest of the latest Candie’s collection will head to Kohl’s stores and online later this month.
