Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Skin care company Neutrogena has announced Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove has signed on as its newest brand ambassador. The young star “embodies the youthful and vibrant spirit” of the brand, says its president Jim Colleran.
The 16-year-old star of the Emmy Award-nominated series “iCarly” joins the line of star ambassadors of the product, including Jennifer Garner, Gabrielle Union, Harden Panettiere, Susie Castillo, Diane Lane, Emma Roberts, and Vanessa Hudgens.
She said, “My friends and I have always loved the Neutrogena brand and their ability to help inspire confidence. So when I found out I was actually going to be part of the Neutrogena family I was really excited.”
“I have always looked up to many of the actresses who are already Neutrogena Ambassadors, and others are my peers, so it is an amazing honor for me to be part of this incredible group.”
Cosgrove’s first Neutrogena ad will debut in early spring. She will be voicing a character in Universal’s new animated feature “Despicable Me,” opposite Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig, which will hit theaters in July.
