Vancouver, Canada (CNS) – Green lovers take note. The Vancouver Eco Fashion Week will be kicking off on April 20 and will run until April 22. The Eco Fashion Week will celebrate sustainable principles and styles while helping to identify and refine sustainable industry practices.
Fashion lovers will also get the chance learn more about eco-friendly fashion from some of the best eco-designers from around the world as they come together to showcase their latest collections of environmentally-friendly, trend-setting fashions. Everyone from designers, buyers, models, agencies, fashion directors and media outlets will be in attendance.
The week will feature a fashion show from eco-friendly designers such as Adhesif Clothing, Ashley Watson, Dotted Loop, Kim Cathers Elements, Nixxi, and WE3.
The week will open on Friday, February 19 at 8 pm with the Eco Fashion Forward Fundraising Night at the Vancouver Public Library at The Promenade. Tickets for the fundraiser can be purchased for $45, with a portion of the proceeds going to the David Suzuki Foundation, a Canadian environmental charity. For more information, head to www.vefw.com.
