London, United Kingdom (CNS) – Supermodels are uniting with Sarah Brown, U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife, to help the victims of the Haitian earthquake. Mrs. Brown, along with Naomi Campbell, Erin O’Connor, Yasmin Le Bon, and Sheila Atim, gathered to promote a charity catwalk show next month.
The annual Fashion for Relief, the brainchild of Campbell, will take place during London Fashion Week on February 18. The models will be joined by other celebrities wearing clothes by designers Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana.
Once the catwalk show ends at the Somerset House, the dresses featured will be auctioned off to benefit the Haiti relief effort.
The money raised will be in aid of The White Ribbon Alliance, which will help rebuild the healthcare system for Haitian mothers and babies.
The charity fashion show will also support the organization’s partner, the Haiti Hospital Appeal, which regularly aims to build new hospital for mothers and children, but will provide ambulance rescue service to Port-au-Prince meanwhile.
A limited edition designer Fashion For Relief t-shirt will be sold exclusively at the event.
