Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – After picking up Full Frontal Fashion last year and launching original web content, the Sundance Channel is getting ready to premiere two original fashion-forward documentary series under the Full Frontal Fashion label.
The first, “Savile Row,” takes a look at the London shopping street famous for its tailoring establishments. In the three-part series, “Savile Row” shows the street’s aging tailors facing very real challenges now in the contemporary fashion world of the 21st century. In the first episode, “Abercrombie & Fitch” opens a retail store on the tradition-filled block.
The second, “The Red Carpet Issue,” takes a look at the phenomenon of the red carpet event and its biggest power players, including fashion designers, stylists, celebrities, and the media. The special features interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Milla Jovovich, Monica Bellucci, and Perez Hilton.
“Savile Row” and “The Red Carpet Issue” kick off an entire-week of Full Frontal Fashion programming, which includes the docu-series “The Day Before,” which chronicles behind-the-scenes fashion shows for designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Proenza Schouler, and Sonia Rykiel.
“Savile Row” and “The Red Carpet Issue” premiere on the Sundance Channel beginning Monday, February 8th at 8pm ET/PT.
