Paris, France (CNS) – Actress Julia Roberts will be raking in some big bucks to become the new face of Lancôme. The cosmetics giant is reportedly paying the “Duplicity” star $20 million to head up the new campaign.
Roberts is following other big name stars such as Juliette Binoche, Uma Thurman, Drew Barrymore, Mena Suvari and Isabella Rossellini, who have previously worked for Lancôme. Clive Owen became the first male spokesperson for the company’s Men’s skincare range and fragrance, Hypnôse Homme.
According to RadarOnline.com, the company executives didn’t mind forking out an enormous amount to land the actress. Roberts was reportedly flown to Paris with her husband Danny Moder immediately after Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards show in Los Angeles to begin shooting the new campaign.
Roberts will appear in the Spring 2010 campaign for Lancôme.
