New York, NY, United States (CNS) – Macy’s is introducing the “Little Red Dress” in support of the American Heart Association. Their INC International Concepts brand has specially created a dress for the American Heart Association just in time for February’s National Wear Red Day.
National Wear Red Day on February 5th and is the first time the retailer has designed a dress to promote awareness of women’s heart disease. The “Little Red Dress,” which retails for $69, supports the Go Red For Women campaign. 10% of the sales from each dress goes to the American Heart Association.
“This is the sixth consecutive year that Macy’s and the American Heart Association have joined forces in the crusade against women’s heart disease,” stated Nicole Fischelis, Macy’s Group Vice President, Fashion Director for Ready-to-Wear. “Creating an exclusive dress design and donating a portion of each sale to the American Heart Association was a logical and fashionable way to celebrate our partnership and demonstrate Macy’s ongoing support for the Go Red For Women movement and National Wear Red Day.”
In continued support of the Go Red For Women campaign, Macy’s will also host the Wear Red Sales Event, which offers customers an additional 20% off merchandise if they wear red in-store from February 3rd – 7th.
The INC “Little Red Dress” will be available from January 31st through March 21st. The fitted dress is available in sizes Small through X-Large.
