Emma Watson's Burberry Ad Subject Of Another Photoshop Disaster Debate
London, United Kingdom (CNS) – Another case of photoshop editing gone awry? “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson looks like she has had her leg amputated in the one of the ads for Burberry’s Spring-Summer ‘10 photoshoot.
The 19-year-old actress returns as the face of the British luxury fashion house. The latest campaign looks as tasteful and classy as ever, with silverscreen’s Hermione posing with male models Matt Gilmour, Max Hurd, George Craig, and her younger brother Alex Watson.
However, one of the photos, the one with the brother and sister shot, quickly captured the curious eyes of online critics, who noted Emma’s right leg seemed to have been cut off or painfully twisted from the frame.
Huffington Post and Buzzfeed first noted the actress’ missing limb, with the former setting up a poll for readers to vote on whether it was a case of another overly airbrushed photo or just a poorly chosen angle shot.
The shot is the latest in the series of photoshop disaster ads that include a model with an ultra thin waist and another with an apparent bobble head.
Just recently, Demi Moore fired a lawsuit-threatening letter to online blog owners who criticized her W magazine photo cover. Some critics noted that she was missing a chunk of hip in the ad, which she vehemently denied.
