Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Lisa Loeb, the singer not only known for her catch ballads but also by her signature cat-eye glasses, is set to launch her own eyewear collection. The “Stay (I Missed You)” hitmaker partners with Classique Eyewear for her own range of frames.
The “Lisa Loeb Collection” will feature classic designs in black and tortoise shell, bold color, and signature accents, including temple designs, rhinestones and etchings.
The 41-year-old singer told People, “People have been asking me about my eyewear style for years. Finally I decided – why not design my own line – so other people can see the world like I do.”
The new collection was created largely for “women with style,” but some frames tend to be more unisex and “could look cute on stylish men, too!”
Loeb, who recently gave birth to a daughter last month, added, “Think sexy librarian, not retro grandma.”
The collection will feature a palette of colors that will complement any skin tone, and frames to fit younger girls as well. Each of the frames bears the title of one of her iconic songs.
The Lisa Loeb Collection will launch spring 2010.
