Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Wal-Mart can have Miley. K-Mart can keep Jaclyn Smith. American fashion designer Zac Posen’s latest creations are heading to Target, in a move that surely cements the mass retailer as the most fashion forward of the affordable chain stores.
Posen will collaborate with Target for its Go International collection. Posen did a line for Target Australia last year, which included a recreated dress worn by Katherine Heigl to the Emmy Awards. The new collection will have pieces that fall anywhere from $14.99 to $149.99.
The announcement comes after Posen revealed he’d also be teaming up with Saks Fifth Avenue for a Z Spoke line, which includes $78 t-shirts and $675 dresses.
Posen joins designers like Rodarte, Tracy Feith, and Erin Fetherston who are also designing for Target. Posen’s Target collection is expected to hit stores on April 25th and be available until May 30th, 2010.
