Paris, France (CNS) – A South Korean supermodel has been found dead in her Paris apartment. 20-year-old Daul Kim was discovered hanged in her luxury apartment Thursday, with reports saying she killed herself.
Kim was a regular on high profile catwalks, modeling for Chanel, Dries van Noten and Alexander McQueen. She modeled in Asia before making her Paris fashion week debut in 2007.
Her professional success was shadowed by her desire to end her life, which she hinted on her blog titled “I Live to Fork Myself.”
One entry, written on November 5, read: “I already accepted that I relate to nothing. The more I gain the more lonely it isÂ… I know I’m like a ghost.’
Her last entry on November 18 was titled “Say hi to forever,” accompanied by a video of the song “I Go Deep” by British DJ Jim Rivers.
Officials have yet to confirm the cause of her death.
