Los Angles, CA (CNS) – DJ AM’s sneakers are set to be auctioned online. The estate of the late celebrity disc jockey, real name DJ Adam, will sell his 800 pairs of sneakers on eBay to benefit his DJ AM Memorial Fund.
Undefeated and Creative Visions partner with Goldstein’s estate for the auction, which will begin November 15 and will run for one month. Various pairs of both new and gently worn shoes will be sold throughout that period.
The lot will include a pair of Nike PlayStation Air Force that was made exclusively for a PlayStation party (only 200 pairs were made). There will also be a pair of Eminem Air Jordan 4s, which was created to commemorate the release of Slim Shady’s Encore LP (only 50 were made).
Other pairs include limited edition and hard or impossible to find Nike, Adidas, Converse, BAPE sneakers.
All proceeds of the auction will go to the fund, which is committed to helping others struggling with addition.
Goldstein was found dead in his New York apartment on August 28. His death was ruled as an accident caused by an acute intoxication from a combination of cocaine and prescription drugs.
