New York, NY (CNS) – For the fans out there obsessed with all of the “The Real Housewives” reality series, they will soon get the chance to dress and look like the women who lead lives full of glamour, drama and designer wardrobes. “The Real Housewives” new apparel line will be hitting stores in the fall of 2009.
Bravo Media has partnered up with clothing design company Royal Flush to create a co-branded line of “The Real Housewives” active wear that will include loungewear, denim, active wear, handbags and accessories.
Brand Extension Executive Jen Turner spoke exclusively with CNS about the new line saying, “Viewers really want to connect with glamour, the sexiness, the fun, the ultra feminine nature of what the Real Housewives brand stands for. So, creating this product is just another extension of really offering our fans the ability, and even viewers who are not necessarily watching the shows right now, to really experience and have a piece of what it’s like to live like a Real Housewife and actually have that design hanging in their wardrobe and part of their everyday lives.”
The new high-end line will be carried in high-end department stores across the country such as Bloomingdales. The prices will range from anywhere from $50 to $90 for tops and around $100 for pants.
Turner says the new collection will feature some dazzling and glitzy pieces, describing it as, “stuff you can wear to yoga class, as you run errands – looking fashionable, fun, looking flirty, very much in the style of what the franchise is.”
Turner also commented about the partnership with Royal Plush saying, “Royal Plush is a company that we really feel has the design aesthetic that’s as much in line with the brand and we’re super excited to be moving forward and really building out the Real Housewives franchise into this experiential, high-end designer product.”
