Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Quiksilver has sold Roxy Girl “Very Nice” cotton hoodies in stores since April, but now they’re recalling the product because the “Very Nice” hoodie is potentially dangerous.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall for the product, which they say could cause children to become entangled or strangling themselves on the drawstrings.
Roxy Girl’s cotton hoodie which zips in front and hass a drawstring at the waist. The hoodie came in gray and blue color schemes, and cherry and lavender color schemes.
The recall offers an at-home remedy, which includes removing the drawstrings from the hoodie, or those who purchased it could return it to the point of purchase or to Quiksilver. The hoodie was sold at stores like Nordstrom, Macy’s, and various surf and sport clothing stores around the country. It retailed for about $40.
