Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – TLC is going to fly in some of our allies in order to help make over America. Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine won’t help the fiscal strategy, but they will help fashion and style as the original hosts of the UK’s ‘What Not to Wear” take on the U.S.
On “Making Over America with Trinny and Susannah,” the two British imports receive a name and address and transform their fashion victim from style-challenged to style-ish over the course of days. With their own special brand of tough love., Trinny and Susannah complete closet and life overhauls.
“Trinny and Susannah have become two of the most recognizable style experts in the industry and deliver the perfect blend of humor, sass, and relatability,” said Nancy Daniels, SVP of Production and Development for TLC. “The advice and tips they provide in this show are realistic and affordable, which will definitely resonate with our audience during this economic crisis.”
Trinny and Susannah first began hosting the UK’s “What Not to Wear” in 2001, and have since hosted spin-offs including “What Not to Wear on the Red Carpet” and “Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation.” They’ve also written a series of “What Not to Wear” books.
“Making Over America with Trinny and Susannah,” a six-part series, premieres its first one-hour episode on Friday, August 21st at 10pm ET/PT.
