New York, NY (CNS) – The fragrance giant Coty Inc. and fashion brand GUESS are teaming up to develop and market new GUESS fragrance lines which will include the distribution of all existing GUESS fragrances. The new partnership will become effective in January of 2010.
“GUESS is on the pulse of edgy style and flirtatious fashion, and GUESS’ ground breaking approach and reputation lends itself perfectly to the passionate and innovative spirit of Coty,” declared Coty Chief Executive Officer Bernd Beetz in a press release. “With this partnership, Coty is inheriting a notable fragrance house. Our plans for expanding the reach of the GUESS brand will position the GUESS fragrance for accelerated global success.”

Coty’s current fragrances include Baby Phat, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Cerruti, Chloe, Chopard, Davidoff, Home Skin Lab, Jennifer Lopez, Jette Joop, Jil Sander, JOOP!, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenneth Cole, L.A.M.B. fragrance by Gwen Stefani, La Voce by Renee Fleming, Lancaster, Marc Jacobs, Nautica, Nikos, Phat Farm, Sarah Jessica Parker, Vera Wang, Vivienne Westwood and Wolfgang Joop.
