Bellevue, WA (CNS) – Vogue Magazine and The Bellevue Collection, a retail, entertainment and dinning district in the Seattle metropolitan region, will co-produce the Front Row Fashion runway show for Fashion Week ’09. The partnership between the haute fashion magnate with the luxury retail powerhouse is to be the centrifugal force for the September 29-October 4 pageantry.
Now in its fourth season, the Bellevue Collection fashion week has grown into a major destination for top luxury brands and independent design houses to demo their lines. Vogue’s presence, and its irrefutable stature in high market fashion has placed the suburban showcase into the trend watch trajectory.
Vogue director of merchandizing, spokeswoman, and trend forecaster Anne Vincent will be moderating the Front Row Fashion runway spectacular.
In addition to the Vogue sponsored corner piece, the Northwest-set event schedule includes the Nordstrom Fall Fashion Show, Italia: Life in ‘I’ Style presented by David Lawrence and the Italian Trade Commission and Lululemon Athletica’s Sweat and Spice Spectacular.
Top brands Burberry, Michael Kors, 7 For All Mankind, Hugo Boss, True Religion will open their doors for an exclusive VIP Shopping Night.
Also on the playbill is the a special director’s screening of the documentary “The September Issue.” The film depicts the ubiquitous influence and unmatchable mystique that Vogue has contributed to the fashion world.
