New York, NY (CNS) – Bravo network is launching a new fashion show following the departure of their highly-rated series “Project Runway.” “Launch My Line” will see 10 industry professionals paired with 10 established fashion designers and compete for the chance of having their own brand launched.
Designers Dean and Dan Caten of DSquared2 are hosting the show, while Stefani Greenfield and Lisa Kline will join as judges.
The show will have each pair put to the test each week to get through the competition. At the end of each episode, complete creations from the pairs will be judged in front of a live studio audience.
The hopefuls include fashion writer Patrick McDonald, choreographer Dan Karaty, jewelry designer Kathy Rose, music mogul Kevin Black, marketing company CEO Marilyn Crawford, stylist Louanna Rawls, fashion critic Merle Ginsberg, architect David Applebaum, event designer Vanessa Gonzales, and DJ Eric Cubeechee.
They will work with their partner fashion designers and create one look per episode, and in the end, a winner will have his or her clothing line launched, while the partner designer will receive $50,000.
The show will premiere September 16.
